The Measure of Mental Health Vital Signs

OQ®-ASC

Do you need an Outcome Questionnaire to factor in life stressors?

The OQ®-ASC will help you connect with not-on-track clients

The adult Clinical Support Tool, OQ®-ASC (Assessment for Signal Clients) measures Therapeutic Alliance, Social Support, Motivation for Therapy and Life Events.

The OQ®-ASC is used in conjunction with the OQ®-45.2, OQ®-30.2 and S-OQ® 2.0 to give the clinician more information on clients that are not-on-track.

Many clients respond well to psychotherapy, but for some, the process of understanding, change and recovery is more difficult. There are a myriad of reasons why some clients respond more favorably to psychotherapy than others. Research suggests several factors as particularly important in effecting a positive psychotherapy outcome in patients whose positive response to therapy is in doubt:

(1) the alliance between client and therapist

(2) the client's degree of motivation to change

(3) the client's social support network

(4) stressful life events, are among the most important.

The feedback from the OQ®-ASC allows you to make treatment decisions based on your client's progress rather than a fixed treatment protocol, theory of change or mandated policies regarding treatment length.

The OQ®-ASC is available in the The OQ® Analyst.
